Much Needed R & R

I am off to Palm Springs for the next two days for a lot of R & R, and I couldn't think of a better place to be.  There will be lots of sunshine, books, magazines, cocktails, high buns and lounging.  I can't think of a better way to spend this Holiday weekend! I hope you all have an equally relaxing weekend!

Memorial day weekend is finally here!! I could not be more excited for this 3 day weekend! I hope you all take time to enjoy the little things this weekend!

Summer Nights

Memorial Day weekend marks the start of summer.  Not only are you allowed to start wearing white {I have really understood or followed that rule} but its time to break out the BBQ gear and be outside as much as possible!  As expected, Anthro has not disappointed with their summer home collection, I guess that means it is time to start planning some summer parties, especially since I will be in my new apartment! What better excuse than a new place to show off?

Whatever You Are Be A Good One

Puff Pastry Cinnamon Rolls

I could eat sweets any time of the day, especially for breakfast! If only I had known sooner that cinnamon rolls were this easy to make, and turned out so delicious!! 

Ingredients:

2 sheets of frozen puff pastry

2 tsb of butter

1/4 cup of sugar

1/4 cup of brown sugar

3 tsp of cinnamon

6 ounces of dark chocolate

Preheat the oven to 400, and let puff pastry defrost

Roll out each sheet of puff pastry

Melt the butter and brush onto the puff pastries

Melt the chocolate {first start with 30 seconds then melt at 10 second intervals until the chocolate is fully melted}

After the chocolate is fully melted brush on top of the butter

In a bowl mix the sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon then spread evenly over the pastry

Roll each pastry into a log and then cut evenly

Place each rolled up slide {standing up} into a greased muffin tin

Cook for 25- 30 minutes

Devour!

Celebration Time!

Today my big sis is graduating from Law School.  Such an exciting and amazing accomplishment! So this weekend is all about celebrating before she has to hit the books again to study all summer!
