DIY Bachelorette Party

 

This past weekend I was in Nashville celebrating my sister's bachelorette weekend.  I took this opportunity to get some crafting time in.  If you have a bachelorette party (or really any party) coming up, grab some burlap, glitter, string and your all set! It really make an event or party that much more personal when you take the time to make all the decorations yourself.  Yes, it is a lot more time consuming but I would say 100% worth the time!

Art Uncorked

Last night my roommate and I finally had our Art Uncorked class.  This had been something that we had on our long to-do list for months now, and let me tell you it did not disappoint!  Even for someone who is clearly not a painter the end result turns out great no matter what and its so fun during the process.  Such a great way to relax and end the week! 

Come Fly Away

When starting to plan for my big sisters bachelorette party, the one thing I was most excited about was the invitations I was going to make.  I spent many months trying to come up with the perfect wording and finishing touches.  I am happy to say they are all finally sent out and turned out just as I had dreamed up many a months ago! Now I just need to find new reason to create fun invitations!

The Cutest Little Store I Ever Did See

After a long weekend of moving, unpacking, painting, lots of DIY projects (more to come on those) and very little rest I am ready for another weekend!  Too bad tomorrow is Monday!  After dinner at one of my favorite spots, Prep Kitchen, we wondered around Little Italy.  Only to wonder into the cutest boutique, which I have found are hard to find in San Diego! If you ever are in San Diego, make sure to stop by Vocabulary, you will not regret your decision!

Chandeliers in the sky

I love a good DIY project, especially one that turns out so amazing! If it is easy to make that is always a plus, but half the fun is the struggle to make the amazing final product!  When I saw these test tube chandeliers from Remodelista, I was in love! I have always loved chandeliers but have never been able to find the perfect one! Well I think I just did, now the hard part comes of how to make mine look just as good...

Glitterify your christmas tree

Decorating you first Christmas tree can get really expensive. If you go the DIY route it's hard to make your ornaments look as if you really bought them all. Pottery Barn had some great ornaments and some that you could easily make yourself without braking the bank. All you need is some sheet music or old news paper, glue, glitter and string! You really can't mess these up and they end up looking very chic!
