This weekend in San Diego, it almost felt like it was summer! After weeks of cold (and by cold I mean 50) it was a nice break in the weather! So many people were out riding bikes, at the beach and just enjoying being outside.  There is something about riding bikes around in the summer that just feels so right.  It may be time soon to get the bikes back out and stay using a different source of transportation.

Polite Provisions

I must admit I have grown to become quite the foodie.  I love trying new places and finding out hidden gems.  And San Diego has yet to disappoint, many say that it is a sleepy town in terms of the restaurants... but I have to disagree.  The latest spot is Polite Provisions in North Park, the same guys of Noble Experiment and Craft and Commerce.  In other words... it has to be amazing!

Not Your Average Peanut Butter

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

This weekend I stopped by the Little Italy Farmers Market and stumbled upon some pretty amazing finds.  One of which was PB Peanut Butter, which is by far the best peanut butter that I have ever had.  The most amazing part about this peanut butter... it's better for you than most peanut butter you are probably eating now.  It comes is some pretty amazing flavor, I left with the toffee flavored and I can not get enough of it.  Apples and toffee peanut butter has become more latest obsession... at least it's a little bit healthier right?

Art Uncorked

Monday, September 24, 2012

Last night my roommate and I finally had our Art Uncorked class.  This had been something that we had on our long to-do list for months now, and let me tell you it did not disappoint!  Even for someone who is clearly not a painter the end result turns out great no matter what and its so fun during the process.  Such a great way to relax and end the week!

Wonderlust Wednesday: Staycation

Wednesday, August 8, 2012

There is nothing better than traveling and experiencing a totally new place, but there is something to be said for taking out the travel part of the mix and exploring your hometown.  The next few days I will be a tourist in my hometown! Here's to relaxing, soaking up some rays, fruity drinks and some much need time off!

The Cutest Little Store I Ever Did See

Monday, June 4, 2012

After a long weekend of moving, unpacking, painting, lots of DIY projects (more to come on those) and very little rest I am ready for another weekend!  Too bad tomorrow is Monday!  After dinner at one of my favorite spots, Prep Kitchen, we wondered around Little Italy.  Only to wonder into the cutest boutique, which I have found are hard to find in San Diego! If you ever are in San Diego, make sure to stop by Vocabulary, you will not regret your decision!

Crepes Bonaparte {new eats}

Thursday, May 31, 2012

I have never really gotten into the food truck fad but as of lately I have become obsessed with checking the locations everyday to see if any of them are close to my office... today after hitting refresh on San Diego Food Trucks about 30 times only to find out the one truck, Crepes Bonaparte, I have been dying to go to (and telling everyone in the office about) was 10 minutes away! So of course I gathered some troops and we caravanned on over.  And let me tell you it lived up to all the hype!!  It was absolutely amazing and left me already thinking about what I want to try the next time!  If you have not already, it is time to jump of the food truck bandwagon and Crepes Bonaparte is the perfect place to start!
